Save Sharks with Sherman

Okay, so I know that sharks are big, scary, man-eating creatures that can fend for themselves, right?
WRONG.
Sharks are actually being hunted and eradicated, mostly for food, and are in need of our support to ensure they survive.
In case you missed it, I am posting a scanned copy of a funny from the newspaper this past Sunday - Sherman’s Lagoon. It’s one that I read every week (and no, I don’t ready every single comic in the Sunday paper… anymore).
It’s probably a blatant breach of copyright, but based on its content and the fact that Earth Day is tomorrow, I don’t think Jim Toomey will mind. Jim - if you do mind, let me know and I’ll take this post down immediately.

So please do your part and print this post (on recycled paper, of course), draw you’re favorite shark (I’m going to draw a tiger shark - I picture a cross between Sherman and Tony the Tiger… just a little worried about the stripes; I want to get them just right), and send it to Dr. Balsiger, as Mr. Toomey suggests.
Namaste,
A. Caleb Hartley
If this is the only thing you do for Earth Day, you’re still doing more than many, many people. So thanks in advance for doing this - and tell us what kind of shark you drew in the comments!
